Kathy Culbertson, LVT, our head technician  

Our Staff

 KathyCulbertson, LVT, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kathy is our Technician Coordinator.  She leads a team of caring, highly skilled veterinary technicians.  After raising seven children, Kathy earned her A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in 1997.  She has been working full time with our practice since 2001.  Previously, she worked in another small animal and exotic practice.  She currently resides in Fairfax Station with her husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and her bird, Calypso.

Kelly Farver, Manager

Kelly Farver joined our practice in April 2001.  She has lived in the Northern Virginia area for nearly her whole life.   Kelly now resides in Burke with her chocolate lab, Shady.  She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program through NOVA.  She is available to answer any questions you may have about the practice.   You can reach her by email at LRVC1@aol.com.

Annie Peterson

Annie joined our practice in September of 2003.  She graduated from George Mason University last spring and now works for us full-time.  Annie lives in Washington, DC with her cat, Yuri.   Annie is available to answer questions you may have on dental disease or dental care you may have about your pets, and about how to brush your pet's teeth. 

Graham McIntyre

Graham is one of our veterinary assistants.  He joined the practice in 2003.  He is currently working on his degree at George Mason.  In addition to all his duties as an assistant, Graham is our "handy man", taking care of a wide variety of duties around the hospital.  Graham resides in Fairfax with his family and their dog, Jenny.

Melanie Stewart

Melanie is one of our veterinary receptionists.  She has been with the practice for over one year.  She is currently working on her degree at George Mason.  She is available to discuss questions you may have on current flea and tick medications.  Melanie resides in Fairfax with her two Italian Greyhounds, Billy and Ellie.
